Sustainability Camp! in Leon County

Learn about climate change and what you can do about it at a half-day workshop hosted by Gardening Friends of the Big Bend. Presenters include Leon County Extension agents and an FSU meteorologist.
The program will include a synopsis of the current climate change situation, instruction on how to calculate your own carbon footprint and solutions for your own landscape, home and consumption habits. The program runs from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Jan. 24; registration starts at 8:30 a.m. Spaced is limited.
To preregister, mail a check ($5 for GFBB members, $10 nonmembers) to North Florida Research and Education Center, Attention: GFBB, 155 Research Road, Quincy, FL 32351-5677 by Jan. 16. The workshop will take place at the NFREC. Take I-10 Exit 181 (Quincy, SR267), go north ¼ mile and turn left, following the drive about ¼ mile to the main building.
