Orange County’s Orange to Green Development Program (OGDP), approved March 4, 2008, was created to encourage sustainable development in our community. The OGDP offers incentives for building owners who incorporate green building techniques in the design and construction of their projects and includes the following:

• “Green Carpet Service”- a single point of contact to assist with the permit application process
• Expedited Permitting & Development Review- site development and building plans receive priority attention
• Community Recognition- project information will be displayed on a special webpage
• Design Awards- special recognition at the annual Orange County Design Excellence Awards
