SC Green Communities Meet Online

South Carolina has a growing population of environmentally-concerned citizens, and their ideas have become actions through municipality initiatives, web communities, and awareness groups.  Websites like SC For Green aggregate information on South Carolina organizations, efforts, and conservation.

From the SC For Green website, navigating other links such as Upstate Forever, SC Says No, Greenville Forward, Go Green Charleston, The Coastal Conservation League, and the South Carolina Chapter of the Green Building Council take interested residents on a comprehensive tour of the South Carolina green scene.  The hyperlocal site Go Green Charleston is packed with resources from green building, organic cleaning companies, transportation alternatives, and an events calendar.
